The Association's mission is to strengthen and promote joint labor/management educational
programs in order to solidify the commitment of companies, unions and employees
to the philosophy and practice of lifelong learning. Workplace development, through
participation in joint education and training initiatives, increases America's
competitive edge in the globalized economy & labor market.

21st CENTURY WORKFORCE COMMISSION
The Commission was mandated by the Workforce Investment Act to hold hearings
across the country to gather data on all matters relating to Information
Technology workers in the US. Read the Association's testimony on IT training
